PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, we are not hosting public workshops at this time. However, if you would like to book a private workshop, please get in touch. We can offer workshops or presentations over Zoom as well.
We provide custom workshops to all kinds of groups including corporations, organizations, book clubs, splurge groups, women's groups, support groups, and special interest groups. These are designed to be educational, engaging and skill building. We custom make each workshop to suit your group's specific needs. Below are some of the workshops we offered. They range from 2 day, full day or half day. Please let us know if you'd like more information!
This is an evening workshop where you will learn about Healthy Communication. We all know that communication is one of the most important elements of all our relationships, yet few of us spend the time and effort required to learn healthy communication skills.
We will provide some theory about communication styles, and then we will have lots of time for discussion. We ask you to come ready with questions to ask!
All supplies, as well as refreshments and snacks, will be provided. You can pre-pay the full fee to guarantee your spot, or you can pay at the event.

VALUE CLARIFICATION AND INTEGRITY WORKSHOP
This is an evening workshop where you will begin to learn to live your life with integrity by articulating your core values and incorporating them into every aspect of your life.

THE ART OF JOURNALING WORKSHOP
This is an evening workshop where you will learn about the transformative power of journaling. We often ask our clients to journal as a part of their journey to increased wellbeing. However people often don't know how to tackle journaling- where to start or what to write about. In this workshop we will explore all of these areas as well look at the wealth of research that identifies the benefits, and science behind, journaling. We will also share with your from our personal journals and provide activities for you to try out your journaling skills. It will be an evening of fun and self-care!
All supplies, as well as refreshments and snacks, will be provided. You can pre-pay the full fee, otherwise a minimum deposit is required to hold your spot.

"Boundaries" is a common term in therapy speak. We often discuss boundary setting as the foundation of healthy relationships, however it can be an overwhelming and challenging concept. In this workshop you will learn the purpose of boundaries, the difference between control vs. boundaries, how to establish and enforce boundaries in healthy ways, and what the consequences of boundaries might look like. Good boundaries in our personal and professional relationships can lead to decreased stress, anxiety, and depression and increased joy, trust, and overall happiness.
All materials as well as refreshments and a light snack will be provided. This will be a 3 hour evening workshop- 6 to 9pm.

HAPPINESS IN THE WORKPLACE WORKSHOP
This is a workshop typically includes an initial meeting to gain insight into the unique needs of the organization, which we then incorporate into our workshop. We have done it as a two part workshop where we meet with management and staff separately and we have done it as a full day workshop for everyone. The content focuses on leadership and team building as well as basic relationship and communication skills.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE PRESENTATION
We give presentations to different community groups regarding various mental health and lifestyle issues. Examples include: presenting to a Senior Citizens group about healthy living in our golden years; presenting to a woman's group about teen suicide.
